Accounting Services & Financial Reporting offers several trainings and presentations for faculty and staff to learn about campus accounting protocols and processes. 

Accounting Services & Financial Reporting (ASFR) Basics

Participants will gain an understanding of the fundamentals of campus accounting, including the definition and purpose of ACTUALS transactions, an overview of chartfields and their setup, and an introduction to campus financial reporting.

Participants will learn the purpose, differences, and proper use of key ASFR forms, including:

1. Chartfield Request Form
2. Expenditure Transfer Request (ETR) App
3. Request for Invoice (RFI) Form
4. Deposit or Reimbursement to University Account Forms
